Zhuobing holds Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She works at the intersection of computational and experimental bioinformatics. Her research investigates the gut microbiome’s influence on cancer therapy outcomes for personalized medicine.
As a Ph.D. candidate at COPSAC and the University of Copenhagen, Zhuobing specializes in microbiome genetics, focusing on phages, bacteria, and their genetic evolution. Her research centers around exploring the uncharted territories of the human gut virome, investigating novel viruses and their implications for human health.
