Julie Rosenberg

MD, PhD

Julie earned her medical degree from the University of Copenhagen in 2015.

Her main clinical experience is within pediatrics and child and adolescence psychiatry.

Julie has been a PhD student in a shared position between COPSAC and CNSR (Center for Neuropsychiatric Schizophrenia Research) from 2019 to 2024. Her PhD is anchored in the research alliance forming the COPSYCH study with the overall aim to investigate associations and causal relationships between early life exposures and neurodevelopment at age 10 in the COPSAC2010 cohort.

As one of primary clinical investigators of The COPSYCH study, Julie has conducted comprehensive evaluations of the children´s neurodevelopment, including cognitive assessments and psychopathological evaluations.

She successfully defended her PhD thesis “Early life exposures as predictors of neurodevelopment at age 10” in March 2024, with a primary focus on the relationship between early life inflammation and mental health outcomes at age 10.

Julie is currently working at the Children´s Department at Hillerød Hospital as part of her pediatric specialization.

She holds a post doc position from Region H Psychiatry, and currently devotes 20 % of her time to continuous research and 80 % to clinical practice.
