Martin Steen Mortensen
Msc Eng, PhD
Martin has a MSc Eng. degree in biotechnology from Technical University of Denmark and has been working with molecular microbiology of gut microbiota at Statens Serum Institut. In 2016 Martin obtained the PhD degree from the Faculty of Science at University of Copenhagen for the project “The human microbiota in early life – Initial colonization and development”. Martins research focuses on large scale sequencing and analysis of human microbiota.
Martin is continuing his research at COPSAC, working with sequencing and analysis of the microbiota from the vast collection of samples that have been and and will be collected in the future.
