Birgit Marie Nielsen

Research Administrative Postdoc, MSc, PhD

Birgit Marie Nielsen has a background in the field of obesity research and human nutrition and has attained a profound expertise in the methodology of dietary research and observational studies. Her interest in research management and coordination has advanced her skills in these areas. Birgit has an MSc degree in human nutrition from University of Copenhagen and has obtained her PhD degree in Nutritional Epidemiology from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Copenhagen in 2010. Birgit has worked several years as postdoctoral researcher and project coordinator in obesity research at the Institute of Preventive Medicine, and finally as the research administrative coordinator.

At COPSAC Birgit has the responsibility of the financial management of grants.
