MSc
Liang earned his master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the National Engineering Research Center for Biomaterials at Sichuan University in 2020. His earlier research focused on designing biomaterials for biomedical instruments aimed at treating cardiovascular and cancer diseases, including work on vascular stents, intelligent biomimetic nanoparticles, and heart valves.
Since 2022, Liang has been pursuing his PhD at COPSAC and the Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Copenhagen. He is part of the metabolomics group, utilizing multi-omics approaches—such as metabolomics, genetics, and microbiome data—to identify biomarkers, drug targets, and prevention strategies for childhood atopic diseases like asthma and atopic dermatitis. Additionally, Liang is actively involved in several collaborative projects with the VDAART cohort at Harvard Medical School in Boston USA, and has completed an exchange PhD program at Harvard Medical School.
