Amelie Fritz studied Bioinformatics at the University of Potsdam. She came to Copenhagen in May 2018 to conduct her master thesis at the University of Copenhagen. During the thesis Amelie worked on deep probabilistic methods for predicting the three-dimensional structure of proteins.
Amelie then started as a PhD student at COPSAC and the Health Tech Department at DTU in December 2019. In her PhD work she focuses on the development and application of new methods for large-scale genomic data using statistical, machine learning and Bayesian approaches.
